Double Peanut Butter Cookie Recipe

These are any peanut butter lovers dream , I made these for my boyfriend who loves peanut butter and him and my mom loved them. I had to adapt the recipe because i couldn't find a big bag of Reese's pieces but if you can you can use those instead.

Recipe:

1 cup of packed brown sugar (dark)

1/2 cup of granulated sugar

1/2 cup of unsalted butter

1/2 cup of vegetable shortening

2 eggs

2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract

3 1/2 to 4 cups of flour (make sure its not to wet but not to dry)

1 tsp baking soda

1/4 tsp of salt

1 bag of peanut butter m&ms 8 oz

1/2 bag of peanut butter chips (in the baking isle)

Preheat the oven to 350

use parchment paper on cookie sheets

In the mixer combine both sugars,butter,shortening,eggs and vanilla

beat at medium speed till mixed

add flour ,salt,and baking soda on low speed till blended

Break out the wooden spoon and stir in by hand the m&ms and peanut butter chips

Drop dough by heaping teaspoons 2 inches apart

Bake 10-12 min till light golden brown color

Makes 4 1/2 dozen cookies
