Almond Shortbread Cookie Recipe
For mothers day i made these cookies for my mom its the recipe i first used when started making cookies but since it contains nuts i thought best to change recipes.
2 1/2 cups unsifted all-purpose flour
3 (1/2 cup) almonds, finely ground you can substitute almond flour as well
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
2 1/2 sticks unsalted butter, room temperature
2/3 cup granulated sugar
Sift together dry ingredients set aside
Cream together butter and sugar
add dry ingredients in two separate sets
mix well
If dough is to soft stick in the fridge for 30 min roll out dough and cut out your selected shapes
Bake for 10-15 min depending on how your oven cooks till light brown
