One week to Live by Angie....
    Day 1.
I would sit at a bus stop in Downtown Dayton for one day with a cooler full of water and freshly made sandwiches, I would listen to the stories of those that struggle, those that have no place to call home. I would pass out a water and sandwich and hold the hands of those that have nobody to reach out to, I would hug those that have nobody to hold them and look into their eyes and tell them they are loved. In the evening I would share my story with my boys and tell them we are born to make a difference.

Day 2. I would pass out every quilt I have made to those at the homeless shelter and tell them that with each cut I thought about you, with each square sewn you were thought of even though we never met, use this to cover up and know that love surrounds u. At night I would use the last quilt to share with my husband as we made sweet love.

Day 3. I would have a picnic at a park and ask everyone I know to come with 5.00 and a dish to share. The $5.00 collected would go to the local Ronald McDonald house for the families going on a ray of hope for their child down the street at the Childrens Hospital. That night I would have my friends from St. Hellion sit on my deck by my beloved pond and relive old memories.

On Day 4 I would spend it with my immediate family and do what they wanted, I would make there favorite cookies. That night I would sleep in my oldest sons bed and tell him stories of him growing up.

On Day 5 I would pass out my jewelry to my girlfriends. That night I would teach everyone how to make jewelry and divy out my supplies. That night I would sleep in my middle sons bed and share stories of when he was a baby.

On Day 6 I would pass out my fabrics of scraps and teach those the love of quilting. I would make a HUGE dinner and eat by candle light with my family. That night I would sleep in my youngest sons bed and tell him how I am so blessed we decied yes on number three child and share baby stories.

On my last morning I would make a a full breakfast and listen to the CD Annie and dance the morning away. I would fly to a tropical area and spend the day on the beach making sandcastles with my boys and walking hand and hand with my husband.

That night I would have us all sleep on the floor and share stories till we fell asleep.

And as I drift off to bed I would have a smile on my face and thank god for everything he has given me and letting me know that I had that week to tie up loose ends with everyone I had for not everyone has that chance.

    Forever...Angie

  8. wow, lovely giveaway! :) i love sampler boxes!

my initial reaction if i had one week to live would be to travel to all the places i want to go (venice, israel, egypt) but one week would really not be a lot of time, esp since traveling takes 2 days to get there!

SO if i had one week only, i think i would get things in order for my family so they don't have to take care of it (my will, what i want to do with the little money i have) and i would just want to spend my last days with my family and my boyfriend. maybe go sky diving, even though i'm deathly afraid of heights! i think i would try to go somewhere that is peaceful.

    good question!

    xo.
